In BC, violence affects a staggering 1 in 3 women. It's happening to mothers, sisters, and daughters.
This is why Battered Women Support Services is spreading the word that: Violence Stops Here.
It stops when you take a stand and support the women in your life, when you support all women. When you let them know they are not alone.
It takes an enormous amount of courage for a woman to stand up to abuse. And it takes courage for men to stand up to other men who are abusing women. But it is obvious now, both have to be part of the solution.
*You can dedicate it or it can be anonymous but the message is clear: you are part of the movement to end violence against women.
